The right step forward: Bringing more awareness of our mission to the Indian community
Recently, MPOWER was featured in leading newspapers across India, detailing our mission and efforts to finance college students from all over the world. We are ecstatic about the coverage our company has received and how these publications addressed our positive impact on the community. Our team has been working hard over the last few months to implement a greater global awareness of MPOWER, and we’re happy to see that our efforts are paying off.
We’ve been working diligently to get our name out by partnering with both domestic and foreign companies. One of our many great partners is Globalizers, a leading education consulting firm in central India. In an excerpt from one of the articles featuring MPOWER, Mr. Prashant Hemnani, Director of Globalizers, says that “MPOWER has helped plenty of our students achieve their dream of pursuing higher education in the U.S. – especially [the most promising students] who could not get a loan elsewhere. We feel extremely proud to be their partner and to continue serving both of our missions together.” Mr. Hemnani further details the story of Aman Chanana, whom MPOWER was honored to finance. “Aman has one of the highest GRE scores at our institute and received partial scholarship from the University of Florida,” he says. “Despite that, he could not secure finances from Indian lenders. Just when he was about to withdraw his admission, he found MPOWER [through us] and was able to secure a loan in just 5 business days at a better rate than what Indian counterparts would offer.”
Aman’s story is exactly why the team at MPOWER works so hard and why we love what we do. We are providing an opportunity for international students to study at top schools in the United States and help them attain their great career potential in the process .
Today, many of our partners in India are actively referring MPOWER to students looking to study in the U.S. We still have a long way to go to reach our goal of lending to students of all backgrounds worldwide, but being featured in the Indian press keeps us motivated and affirms that we are taking the right steps to meet that goal.
